Dave Lane’s Hi-Tech Mechanical – Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Work
All work performed by Dave Lane’s Hi-Tech Mechanical is limited to the scope described in the approved estimate or invoice. Any additional work requested or required will be treated as a change order and may result in additional charges.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits may be required prior to scheduling or ordering equipment. Late payments may be subject to additional fees, interest, and collection efforts.
3. Change Orders
Any work not explicitly listed in the original estimate must be approved by the customer before being performed. Additional charges will apply.
4. Access & Job Conditions
Customers agree to provide safe, clear, and unobstructed access to all work areas. Delays or additional labor caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or unforeseen obstacles may result in additional charges.
5. Pre-Existing Conditions
Dave Lane’s Hi-Tech Mechanical is not responsible for pre-existing issues including but not limited to:
- Faulty ductwork
- Electrical deficiencies
- Structural issues
- Code violations
Any such issues discovered during the project may require additional work at the customer’s expense.
6. Permits & Code Compliance
Permits will be obtained as specified in the estimate. Customer is responsible for any HOA approvals unless otherwise stated. Any required upgrades to meet current code that were not visible or disclosed at time of estimate will be treated as additional work.
7. Equipment & Material Availability
Equipment and material pricing and availability are subject to change due to supplier conditions. Delays caused by manufacturers, shipping issues, or supply chain disruptions are outside our control.
8. Warranties
Manufacturer warranties apply to all equipment. Labor warranties, if offered, will be stated in writing in the estimate or invoice. Warranty does not cover:
- Misuse or neglect
- Lack of maintenance
- Unauthorized modifications
9. Limitations of Liability
Dave Lane’s Hi-Tech Mechanical shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of use of property
- Delays outside of our control
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.
10. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made within a reasonable timeframe prior to scheduled work. Deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has been scheduled.
11. Right to Refuse or Stop Work
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue work due to unsafe conditions, code violations, or customer interference.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled in accordance with the laws of the state in which services were performed.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By approving an estimate, authorizing work, or submitting payment, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
